J.P. Morgan has launched the 2022 EMEA intake of the J.P. Morgan ReEntry Program. J.P. Morgan recognises that rewarding careers do not always follow a conventional route and values the diversity, fresh perspective and wealth of experience that returning professionals can bring.
The 15-week paid non-rotational program will run virtually from March 2022 to July 2022 with fellows aligned to the following locations: London, Bournemouth, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dublin, Frankfurt & Paris. To set you up for success, this hybrid program consists of a mix of virtual and in person networking, skills sessions, learning and development opportunities, on-the-job training, mentoring and coaching.
J.P. Morgan is partnering with Women Returners to host a virtual Insight Event for the Program on 1 December 2021, to provide information and support to applicants.

Pro bono opportunity with Durham University Pro Bono Society Project

The weekly pro bono clinic works in partnership with Citizens Advice County Durham to provide legal advice to clients in the local Durham community. This clinic has always operated an online model, and as such, is well established to adapt to current circumstances. Due to increased demand, the clinic is looking to expand their current offering to be able to assist more clients.
Civil Practice Law Graduate, Immigration Detained Removal Defense (NYIFUP)

As part of an initiative called the New York Immigrant Family Unity Project (NYIFUP), The Legal Aid Society’s Civil Practice is seeking Staff Attorneys to join its city-wide Immigration Law Unit Detention Project. The Staff Attorneys must have a deep commitment to public interest and immigration law. The Staff Attorneys will represent detained clients in removal and bond proceedings before the Varick Street Immigration Court, the Elizabeth Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and, when appropriate, in Family Court proceedings, and related proceedings before the USCIS. The Staff Attorney will also represent The Legal Aid Society’s NYIFUP clients who are released from custody and continue to meet income eligibility requirements.
